Amadeus Mobile Messenger helps Raptim’s humanitarian clients travel safely

The web solution helps travel managers fulfil duty of care and contact their travellers’ to minimise risk even in the most extreme of circumstances.

Having the right technology to know where your travellers are and how to locate them is a must for any travel management company (TMC). For Raptim, this is especially critical: the TMC pioneered the world of humanitarian travel by air 65 years ago.
Today, Raptim helps 300,000 humanitarian workers get to where they need to be through whatever means necessary. Raptim’s clients include some of the world’s largest non-governmental organisations. When their employees need to travel, they sometimes need to reach extremely remote and sometimes dangerous places quickly and with peace of mind.

As of this October, Amadeus is also going to help Raptim transform the way its clients manage their obligations in duty of care, with the integration of Amadeus Mobile Messenger. The web solution, allows travel managers to track travellers in real time, as well as provide risk intelligence and incident management. Travel managers also have the ability to send instructions to individuals or large groups of travellers at any point of their journey with easy two-way communication via SMS, email and via push notifications on the iOS, Windows and Android friendly app.
