Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest low-cost carrier, selected Amadeus as its new ground services technology provider. Amadeus will provide Air Arabia, with its cutting-edge technology: Altéa Departure Control - Customer Management and Flight Management, both as standalone solutions.

Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest low-cost carrier, selected Amadeus as its new ground services technology provider. Amadeus will provide Air Arabia, with its cutting-edge technology: Altéa Departure Control -Customer Management andFlight Management, both as standalone solutions.

Altéa Departure Control - Customer Management is a robust solution for implementing new-generation airport processes and supporting the whole customer experience. Air Arabia Group investment in the new technology aims at facilitating enhanced productivity and customer experience at the airports. Altéa Departure Control - Flight Management aims at supporting passenger and cargo load using modern automation technologies and therefore providing the airline with more opportunities to maximize efficiency.

Maher Koubaa, Executive Vice President of Airlines for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa, Amadeus mentions, “We are extremely proud to support Air Arabia with the implementation of these two standalone solutions. The modular structure of the Altéa DCS suite allows Air Arabia to implement the different solutions it needs to meet its business goals with a smooth integration into its already existing technology. Air Arabia operates from five main hubs – Sharjah International Airport, Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and Abu Dhabi International Airport, UAE; Mohamed V International Airport in Casablanca, Morocco and Borg Al Arab International Airport in Alexandria, Egypt. With a fleet of 58 aircraft, Air Arabia connects over 170 routes around the world.
