Both companies sign a multi-year agreement including new solutions, technology and better optimization and automatization of services for TravelStore travel sellers
Business travel bookings, spending and willingness to travel is on the rise, according to a recentGBTA Business Travel Recovery Poll . Despite the challenges the travel industry is facing, “nine in ten (94%) GBTA buyers and procurement professionals feel their employees are “willing” or “very willing’ to travel for business in the current environment”.
It is against this backdrop that Amadeus and the corporate travel & events TravelStore Group have signed a new agreement for their businesses in Portugal, Spain, Angola, and Mozambique. TravelStore travel sellers are now starting to implement Amadeus services and solutions and will be able to access a wide range of travel content through the Amadeus Travel Platform, as well asNDC-enabled content, richer hotel content and new robotics solutions for greater productivity through task optimization.
Through the Amadeus Travel Platform, NDC brings TravelStore travel sellers access to richer, more tailored airline offers. Through a single display, travel agents will be able to search, book, pay and manage richer and more personalized content for business travelers. Some 15,000+ travel sellers in more than 90 markets around the world already have access to NDC-enabled content through the Amadeus Travel Platform. This is fully in line with the Amadeus’ vision to procure content from any source and make it available across all relevant touchpoints.
Amadeus will also provide TravelStore with increased access to hotel offers through the integration of new providers, with tools designed to enable the travel sellers to find the perfect hotel for their customers. In addition, travel agents will be able to compare and identify on a single screen different options and select the one that best suits the traveler’s needs.
Automatization will improve the productivity of the day-to-day operations of TravelStore travel sellers through the usage of robotics. Amadeus robotic applications automate travel agents’ admin tasks, allowing them to free up time and gain efficiencies.
