The new agreement will allow the expansion of travel offers, as well as the incorporation of new payment solutions

Amadeus and Viajes El Corte Inglés have renewed their partnership by signing a new multi-year travel agreement in Spain and Portugal. Amadeus will offer the travel agency the implementation ofNDC (New Distribution Capability) solutions as well as the use ofAmadeus B2B Wallet. This agreement includes its incorporation into theAmadeus Value Hotels program, which increases Viajes El Corte Inglés' hotel inventory, and the integration ofiHotelier® Channel Management ™, that will allow hotels to integrate their offer into the sales channels of the travel agency. This agreement is an extension of their long-standing distribution partnership, whereby the agency will have access to the travel content network through the Amadeus Travel Platform.
With this alliance Viajes El Corte Inglés ratifies the use, as part of its booking management tools, including NDC-enabled content. These solutions make it possible for travel agents to purchase, book, pay and manage airline travel offers through NDC connectivity. Amadeus is working closely with agents and airlines. All of this is fully integrated, with other travel content, in the Amadeus Travel Platform. The main focus of the two brands is to meet the demands of travellers.
TheAmadeus Value Hotelsprogram allows Viajes El Corte Inglés to increase its selection of hotels. The search offers more combinations, which benefits both travellers and the Agency, which reaffirms its position as one of the largest travel agencies in Spain. Viajes El Corte Inglés has more than 700 points of sale and a strong online and offline presence in Spain and Portugal. In addition, hotels using Amadeus iHotelier® Channel ManagementTM will be able to increase their visibility with VECI agents and therefore drive demand and bookings.
Amadeus B2B Walletprovides Viajes El Corte Inglés with an optimisation of supplier payment processes, facilitating each transaction. It also offers various payment options which, as always, results in better customer service.
