Amadeus and Singapore Airlines (SIA) today announced the successful renewal of their multiyear EDIFACT and New Distribution Capability (NDC) agreements, reaffirming a longstanding partnership focused on delivering seamless, modern, and personalised experiences across global markets.
This renewed commitment ensures uninterrupted access to Singapore Airlines’ full range of fares, products, and services for travel sellers connected to the Amadeus Travel Platform. It also reinforces the airline’s extensive indirect sales network, supporting SIA’s growth ambitions and driving commercial excellence across multiple channels.
Building on years of collaboration, Amadeus and SIA will continue to work together to increase NDC adoption, accelerating a modern retailing environment for agencies and travelers. Through this renewal, Amadeus will support SIA in making additional NDC capabilities and content available to travel sellers over time, empowering richer product differentiation and more personalized offers.
As SIA advances its retailing transformation, growing NDC adoption is now a critical lever in the airline's commercial and distribution strategy. NDC enables airlines to deliver realtime, data driven offers that maximize value for travelers, while helping travel sellers boost revenue performance and optimize margins through better product differentiation.
By expanding its NDC footprint with Amadeus, SIA is unlocking richer merchandising capabilities, enabling agencies to access the airline’s full suite of fares, ancillaries, and branded experiences with greater transparency and consistency.
The collaboration also includes a strong forward-looking roadmap, reflecting the shared ambition of both organizations to enhance the traveler experience. Amadeus and SIA will continue to collaborate and improve the NDC solution, ensuring travelers benefit from improved servicing capabilities, expanded ancillary content, and more dynamic retailing options.
“The renewal of our distribution agreements with Amadeus reflects Singapore Airlines’ commitment to modernizing our retailing capabilities and expanding the reach of our content globally. Together with Amadeus, we look forward to introducing enhanced NDC features that support richer product differentiation and a more seamless booking and servicing experience for travel sellers and customers alike”
Gan Cai Fong General Manager, Distribution, Singapore Airlines
Javier Laforgue, Executive Vice President, Travel Unit, Asia Pacific, Amadeus says: “Our renewed agreement with Singapore Airlines underscores our mutual commitment to modernizing airline retailing and expanding access to high value content for travel sellers worldwide. Together, we will continue driving NDC adoption and enabling more flexible and personalized booking experiences across channels.”
With this renewal, Amadeus and SIA reaffirm their shared vision of advancing digital retailing in aviation and creating greater value for travelers, agencies, and partners across the ecosystem.
