Aeromexico and Amadeus announce the renewal of their distribution agreement to offer an enhanced customer purchasing experience. The two companies are evolving their long-standing partnership through a multi-year distribution agreement - focused on customer centric retailing - that reinforces both parties’ commitment to continue innovating while giving more options to customers. The deal includes the distribution of the full range of Aeromexico’s traditionally sourced content (EDIFACT) as well as NDC-sourced (New Distribution Capability) content that will be made available for Amadeus connected travel sellers and corporations worldwide in H2 2023 via the Amadeus Travel Platform.
This move reinforces Aeromexico’s premium products focused distribution strategy across all retail channels and strengthens its position as Mexico’s global airline.

NDC-enabled content makes it easier for travelers to better understand Aeromexico´s product offerings and simplifies the purchasing decision. We are excited about this new deal and expect this innovation to enhance the booking process and remarkably improve the experience for travelers”,said Aeromexico’s Chief Commercial Officer, Aaron Murray.
With NDC technology, Aeromexico will be able to further enhance the shopping experience by providing richer and more customized content and supporting better upsell of its branded and ancillary products. Having access to the full range of Aeromexico’s offers and product attributes, travel sellers across the globe can grant their customer extended choice, provide best-in-class customer service and improve traveler confidence. They will be able to shop, order, pay and service the airline’s NDC-enabled offers in a fully integrated way through their usual booking environment, including Amadeus Selling Platform Connect, the Amadeus Travel API, or Cytric Travel & Expense, the Amadeus self-booking tool for corporations.
