Amadeus and JetSMART renew their distribution agreement

Amadeus and JetSMART have strengthened their partnership by renewing their distribution agreement. Distribution of the airline's content through Amadeus began in 2022 in Chile, and subsequently in Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, and in the United States.

With this agreement, JetSMART ensures its content, offered via EDIFACT connectivity, remains accessible through Amadeus’ extensive network of travel sellers. Customers can seamlessly explore the airline’s products through their preferred booking platforms, reinforcing JetSMART’s commitment to transparency and customer convenience.

Victoria Gorzio, VP Airlines, Latin America at Amadeus, highlighted that

By maintaining its collaboration with Amadeus, JetSMART guarantees its top-tier services remain accessible to travel sellers and travelers across the Americas. Moving forward, we aim to explore innovative merchandising strategies that will further enhance JetSMART’s commercial approach.”

By harnessing the flexibility of the Amadeus Travel Platform, JetSMART can provide travelers with a broader range of products and ancillary services. This empowers both travel sellers and buyers to effortlessly browse, book, and manage the airline’s complete selection of offerings.

JetSMART is the fastest-growing ultra low-cost carrier in the South American region. This collaboration is a testament to the shared vision of both companies in modernizing airline distribution and elevating customer experience.
