Louis Armstrong New Orleans International, San Diego International and Kelowna International airports (BC, Canada) are all adopting Amadeus IT solutions, mainly the Airport Operational Database and Resource Management System (AODB/RMS) and Extended Airline System Environment (EASE).
At Louis Armstrong New Orleans International, the AODB/RMS will manage the airport’s fixed resources more efficiently by providing better visibility to overall ground and airline operations. Being an existing Passenger Processing System client, Louis Armstrong New Orleans International airport will leverage AODB for better passenger service and a more efficient travel experience. Amadeus AODB holds the schedules for 95% of the world’s airlines, 365 days in advance, giving airports the advance visibility to plan ahead.
AODB/RMS will also be implemented at the San Diego International Airport, adding another California terminal to Amadeus’ portfolio followingNorman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport
Cloud-based Airport Operational Database (AODB ) ensures real-time awareness of airline schedule changes thanks to automated updates to the system. The solution at both airports is slated to go live by the end of 2019.
Extended Airline System Environment (EASE), part of the suite of Amadeus Airport IT solutions, is being implemented by Kelowna International Airport to gain the ability to manage its facility more efficiently and enable multiple airlines to share ticket counters and gates. With Kelowna International Airport (BC, Canada), Amadeus has demonstrated its reach in Canadian airports and continues to grow its EASE customer base. EASE at Kelowna will go live in September 2019.
