Amadeus appoints Till Streichert as Chief Financial Officer

Streichert, a former Vodafone executive and Boston Consulting Group consultant, joins Amadeus with more than 20 years’ experience across a range of high-profile global financial and strategic executive positions. In turn, current Amadeus CFO Ana de Pro is to leave Amadeus at the end of this year, after more than a decade with the company.

Amadeus today announces that Till Streichert is appointed Chief Financial Officer at Amadeus with immediate effect, succeeding Ana de Pro who will leave Amadeus at the end of 2020.

Streichert joins Amadeus from the Vodafone Group, where he has been for 12 years, most recently as Group CFO and Executive Director of Vodacom, the Group’s publicly listed telecommunication subsidiary in South Africa.

With more than 20 years’ experience in supporting high-profile financial and operational transformation programs, Streichert has deep expertise across financial strategy and business leadership, as well as revenue and profit growth in international environments. His career to date has included positions at Vodafone Romania and Vodacom South Africa, T-Mobile UK, and the Boston Consulting Group.

A German native, Streichert will report directly to Amadeus’ President and CEO Luis Maroto and is to be based in Madrid. He will work in partnership with the outgoing CFO, Ana de Pro, throughout the rest of this year as part of a transition period, to ensure a smooth handover.

As she embarks on the next stage of her career in 2021 outside of Amadeus, de Pro will be focusing on Board and Audit Committee positions as a non-executive director, including in the not-for-profit sector.
