This new strategic partnership will deliver increased efficiency, digitalization and enhanced customer service for both corporate and retail travel customers
As a leading travel seller, BIDTravel – part of the BidVest group in South Africa – has big ambitions. Confident of a future travel recovery, BIDTravel is seizing the opportunity to become “match-fit” to meet customer demand and deliver the highest levels of service. The role of travel technology features heavily in bringing the company’s ambitions to fruition.
As part of the new partnership, brands that are set to benefit from the new technology deal include Harvey World Travel, Rennies BCD Namibia, Travel Ambassadors and Travelwise.
The new partnership will provide travel consultants with access to the latest information to help travelers regain confidence and start traveling again. Additionally, touchless solutions from Amadeus enable travel consultants to spend less time on repetitive admin tasks and focus on delivering personalized service that customers truly value. Amadeus technology will also help the Harvey World Travel network and Travel Ambassadors provide best-in-class support to non-IATA franchisees. All travel consultants will enjoy 24/7 access to Amadeus’ artificial intelligence based chatbot called Amanda.
