Breeze Airways selects Amadeus as its first distribution partner

The airline, a Navitaire customer, will leverage Amadeus’ advanced technology and extensive travel seller network to boost market reach

Breeze Airways has signed a new distribution agreement to make its content available through theAmadeus Travel Platform . The first-of-its-kind distribution agreement for Breeze marks a significant milestone in the airline’s growth strategy.

Since the airline began operations in 2021, Breeze has been using New Skies, a digital first reservation, retailing and e-commerce solution from Navitaire, an Amadeus company. The low-cost airline is undergoing a period of rapid expansion, which will be further supported by the distribution partnership with Amadeus, providing travelers around the world more choice and offering a seamless shopping, booking and servicing experience through travel sellers in over 190 countries.

Along with the distribution agreement, Breeze has signed to deploy Amadeus eTicket Server, allowing the innovative low-cost airline to distribute through the Amadeus Travel Platform as a ‘ticketing carrier’ and providing the technology needed for interline partnerships.

Since launch in 2021, Breeze has grown its domestic presence in the United States and today offers a mix of more than 275 year-round and seasonal routes between 68 cities in 31 states. The carrier operates a fleet of Embraer 190/195 and Airbus A220-300 aircraft, with a focus on providing efficient and affordable flights between secondary airports, bypassing hubs for shorter travel times.
