Carrier to offer domestic content for all Amadeus-connected travel sellers in their home market

Travel sellers are poised to offer a wider range of content from Brazilian carrier GOL Linhas Aéreas (GOL) following an expansion of availability through Amadeus. The development will open access to the airline's domestic content for all Amadeus-connected travel sellers in the Brazilian market for the first time.

Content will be available in the Amadeus Travel Platform via EDIFACT technology, helping travel sellers access a broader range of GOL content through their existing booking workflows.

"As one of Brazil’s leading airlines, GOL is positioned to unlock new growth through the scale and reach of the Amadeus travel marketplace. At the same time, Brazilian travel sellers will gain broader access to the content they need to better serve travelers, while streamlined post‑sale processes will help improve the traveler experience and reduce operational costs."

Meg O’Keefe Senior Vice President, Airlines, Americas, Amadeus

GOL is one of Brazil's leading airlines and part of the Abra Group, alongside Avianca and Wamos. Launched in 2001, the carrier has built alliances with American Airlines and Air France-KLM and today offers passengers access to more than 60 codeshare and interline agreements.
