Amadeus statement on new Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) classification

Amadeus has long been fully committed to ESG. We have been proud to be a part of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for the past eleven years in a row. This year, however, the DJSI has changed Amadeus’ classification from “TSV IT Services” to “TRT Hotels, Resorts, and Cruiselines”.

Amadeus is a global travel technology company sitting at the very heart of the entire travel and IT sector. We have therefore with a heavy heart decided not to respond to this year’s DJSI questionnaire and, consequently, we will not participate in this year’s indices.

We do continue to engage positively with the DJSI and we hope that in the future our business will return to its former IT Services classification to ensure Amadeus is accurately and fairly represented in these important indices.
