EGL Tours, a Hong Kong-based travel seller has signed a comprehensive partnership with travel technology leader, Amadeus. This partnership comes at a decisive time for one of the largest travel sellers in Hong Kong, which is working to grow its market share in the destination and wider region.
Christina Yuen, Executive Director, EGL Tours said: “Our partnership with Amadeus is motivated, not only by the cutting-edge solutions offered, but a commitment to a long-term collaboration with an industry leader. We are confident that the adoption of several new solutions to build efficient processes will provide a smoother travel experience for our customers.”
As part of the partnership, EGL Tours will utilize several Amadeus solutions, including Amadeus Master Pricer, which efficiently returns a mix of the cheapest bookable fares and most convenient itineraries, over a wide choice of airlines and flights.
Also included in the partnership agreement is Amadeus Ticket Changer, a solution which will provide EGL Tours with the ability to comprehensively automate and process air ticket changes. As well as Outpayce B2B Wallet Payment solution, which will help optimize payments to suppliers in a more efficient manner to reduce fraud risk and facilitate the reconciliation process.
Finally, Amadeus Agency Insight will offer a comprehensive set of analytics tools providing real-time insights for strategic decision-making. This includes the ability for EGL to monitor market trends, understand competitive dynamics, and optimize marketing and sales strategies based on actionable data.
All these solutions will be supporting EGL in its digital transformation and help the travel seller build personalized, end-to-end experiences travelers increasingly expect.
