Travel technology player takes off on Benelux blog, Twitter and LinkedIn
Vilvoorde, Belgium, 18 March, 2015: Amadeus Benelux, a leading technology partner for the global travel industry, today announces the launch of dedicated Benelux social media channels.
What is in our new name Customer Care? The estimated number of low cost carrier passengers in the Benelux for 2015? How can you work more efficiently as a travel agent today? What stories are trending now in the Benelux social travel sphere?
“That’s why we have taken off”, says René Schukkink, Commercial Director Amadeus Benelux, “with our dedicated Benelux blog, Twitter Account and LinkedIn updates. We want to be out there, with the business & leisure travel professional in Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg. Inspiring, answering questions and helping them face the challenges they face today:
Just to name a few.”
“We are sharing our expertise, our data and our insights as travel technology provider. And we will add specific Benelux information whenever possible. That is very important: we are a global player serving 195 countries, but our Benelux team is always close and we tailor our products and our data to that specific market”, adds René.
When you visit the blog - smartphone, tablet or desktop, go ahead -, you will see there is more than digits and numbers to be found. A weekly round-up of popular Benelux travel links called “Short trip” helps you save time. And “In the seat next to you” features a monthly portrait of an Amadeus employee, sharing, among other things, favourite travel destinations and photos.
“Our tagline is Let’s Shape The Future Of Travel”, René concludes. “A big part of that future is being connected online, whatever the interface or device. So Wherever our Benelux customers and partners are, we are there too.”
