It’s a little past 1AM and your flight has just landed after an arduous six hour journey. You’re tired, fed up, and focused on getting to your hotel to catch up on some sleep for tomorrow’s big meeting.
After waiting patiently for your luggage and clearing customs another foreboding obstacle awaits – one we’ve all encountered: the great taxi battle.
You fight the crowd and haggle for an acceptable rate – but by now the dark circles under your eyes are a permanent testament to your grueling travels.
Fortunately – such travel quandaries are about to become a thing of the past as we work with our partnerCabforce to bring you pre-booked taxis and airport transfers via Amadeus e-Travel Management and Amadeus Selling Platform Connect.

“Our goal is to deliver smarter technology and make travelling simple between our user's home and destination. Cabforce enables us to deliver a superior 'door-to-door' service with the right type of content for business travellers and corporate travel managers.”
When ordering a taxi, executive car, or minibus, travellers receive a competitive flat rate with all mileage, charges and tips included using Cabforce’s unique technology that determines a ride's all-inclusive rate at the time of booking. Payment is done online and provides an electronic receipt; making taxi receipts one less thing to worry about.
This new partnership will make pre-booked airport transfers and taxi bookings available to travel agencies, TMCs and corporations using Amadeus platforms in 2013 and will be available in the UK and Finnish markets in the coming months.
With the partnership, corporate travellers will be able to easily pre-book their own rides through Amadeus e-Travel Management.
Travel agents will also be able to book door-to-door packages and provide unique value-added content to their customers through Amadeus Selling Platform Connect.
Cabforce aims to cover main business destinations in America, Asia, and Australia still within this year.
For Amadeus – adding taxis to our bookable content offerings brings us one step closer to delivering a seamless door-to-door travel experience: from the moment you leave your house to check-in at your hotel room.
