Amadeus Nigeria is guided by the mantra of ‘growth, leadership and innovation’, and today we are living up to it with the opening of our much anticipated office in Kano, Northern Nigeria.
A region with endless opportunities and potential, this new office will extend our reach into Northern Nigeria, where we want to work more closely with our travel agency customers.
We are dedicated to helping our Nigerian travel agency customers grow with us by offering them solid and proven technology. We are focused on providing our customers in the region with superior air content to fulfil travellers’ expectations. Over the past year, Amadeus has entered into new agreements with Nigerian based carrier Med-view, with Africa World Airlines (AWA) in Ghana and more recently with privately owned Dana Air.
The opening of our new office in Kano will definitely not go unnoticed, as we had a great celebration to mark our entrance into Northern Nigeria. The ceremony gathered dignitaries, prestigious representatives from the travel industry as well as 100 travel agency partners. To commemorate this key landmark, Amadeus and NANTA have also held a product and solution workshop for the travel trade industry to present some of the latest technology to help travel agencies gain efficiencies and better serve travellers.
Amadeus has been in Nigeria since 2001 and is the leading Global Distribution System (GDS) with offices in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and now also Kano.
