As Microsoft employees begin to use Cytric Easy by Amadeus for their corporate travel booking processes, we are beginning to see the benefits of moving everything to the Azure cloud, which will provide the flexibility for Microsoft and Amadeus to develop a new travel ecosystem built all around greater productivity and collaboration. This progress is one step forward in the journey we embarked upon – havingsigneda deep, strategic partnership with the innovative travel technology provider back in 2021.
Our shared goal is to drive collaboration across the entire industry, working to create hyper-personalized services and offerings tailored to the unique needs of the traveler. The partnership combines the trusted, secure cloud platforms and industry-leading collaboration and enterprise technologies of Microsoft, with Amadeus’ proven expertise and innovation in travel technology.
Cytric Easy by Amadeus demonstrates the power of the combination of native tools employees work in everyday, like Teams, seamlessly integrated with a proven travel booking and expense tool.
Together with Amadeus, we are working to transform the corporate travel business, creating new experiences based on the power of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams Data, Generative Artificial Intelligence and Amadeus’ Book & Search Content. Today, Cytric helps employees and organizations to take the best of human connections and - in the context of hybrid-working - to ensure each trip drives significant value while also boosting social capital.
Following the successful implementation of this project, our employees are now using Cytric Easy to book all their trips. Looking ahead, and with Amadeus’ journey to the Azure Cloud on track, we are working together to design and deliver a growing range of cutting-edge travel solutions offering more relevant and sophisticated end-user experiences.
Adopting Cytric Easy by Amadeus is the initial step of an ambitious digital transformation journey for Microsoft travelers, one focused on delivering a richer, more intuitive travel experience.
Cytric Easy enables Microsoft colleagues to plan, book, share and change their journeys with a much more interactive, intuitive, and seamless experience never leaving their day-to-day applications.
Cytric Easy by Amadeus is flexible enough to adapt to our global travel policy, responding to our established focus on sustainability and accessibility. It enables connection to rich, NDC-enabled content from across airlines and extensive rail and ground transportation content. With sustainability always front of mind, Cytric Easy makes it easier to compare different options and encourage travelers to make the best decisions when it comes to minimizing CO2 emissions, and with tools such as ShareMyTransfer, travelers can reduce emissions by hopping in the same shared ride.
This decision to adopt Cytric Easy by Amadeus was not a given – it reflects our trust in Amadeus and the solutions they offer. Corporate travel is a competitive market, with many well-established companies offering a range of tools.
During the rollout, Amadeus was able to meet strict compliance and data protection requirements set by our teams here at Microsoft, and the company is currently considered a market-leader in driving sustainable travel.
