That is why Key Travel, the world’s largest travel management company dedicated to the humanitarian, faith and academic sectors, has partnered with Amadeus to assist travelers across the whole of their trip through a new travel mobile app. Our Key Travel Mobile App, powered by Amadeus Hey! allows us to support customers pre-trip and during the trip, offering them additional options to enhance their travel experience and notifying them in real-time of any alterations or delays that may impact their journey, so they avoid last minute surprises and make the most of their time.
Amadeus Hey! is an all-in-one digital travel assistant, that enables industry stakeholders to create a better traveler experience with contextual and personalized trip services at every stage of the journey.
The solution draws on a set of APIs to enable travel players, whether an OTA, airport or travel management company such as Key Travel, to provide a digital assistant experience to their travelers, in any touchpoint they want (app, web, chatbot, chat apps, or marketing automation tools).
Users can get all the functionality of a digital travel assistant - from itinerary retrieve and display, personalized and contextual trip notifications to a catalogue of bookable and informational content - and this can all be deployed by Amadeus in a matter of weeks.
The Key Travel mobile app powered by Amadeus Hey! allows us to showcase all journey information a traveler might need in one place. This grants access to all the features of our online booking tool, Key Travel Online, including options to book flights, hotels and ground transportation.
Also included are real-time flight updates, offering details of any delays or cancellations, boarding gate status and luggage claim information, while there are also alerts that a flight check-in is open with a direct link to the airline check-in page.
Other features Amadeus Hey! provides to the users of our Key Travel Mobile app include weather forecasts, the ability to apply for compensation in the event of a delayed flight, or to purchase additional services directly from third parties, including transfers, airport lounges, tours, and activities.
Most recently, Amadeus integrated Amadeus Hey! with Amadeus Mobile Messenger, one of the world’s leading risk management tools, thus allowing us to further enhance the traveler experience. Now destination risk assessment and live travel risk notifications relevant to a trip are available in the app. I am proud that Key Travel is the first travel company in the world to benefit from this integration.
The destination advisories allow the travelers to properly prepare before their trip and the relevant risk notifications keep on alerting them throughout the journey, which is very important as many of our customers travel to high-risk destinations as part of their work to do good in the world. This solution allows us to put the needs of travelers first, creating the seamless, connected journeys they expect.
The Key Travel Mobile App is accessible from Apple and Android stores and is available in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian and even Japanese!
