Do you ever think about how the travel industry really works? It’s not only about searching and buying. It’s not only about trains, planes, airports, and hotels. It’s not only about getting from A to B.

It’s about the experience. The experience of travel for everyone, everywhere.

As the pace of change within our industry grows faster, we must look at ways to power better experiences across the entire travel industry: by placing the traveler first, by better connecting our industry, creating smoother trips, and accelerating our journey towards more sustainable travel.

Technology is key to unlocking better traveler experiences. All of the major trends in technology - whether it is artificial intelligence, biometrics or cloud - are poised to have significant impact on travel. We, as an industry, must be ready to adapt and innovate.

As a technology leader, our purpose guides all that we do

At Amadeus, we couldn’t be more excited about our role in the travel industry. Our technology unlocks the freedom to realize new ideas. It connects our industry and inspires new opportunities for growth. It also takes away friction, getting us all where we need to go more easily. It delivers great traveler experiences. More sustainably. More connected. More profitably.

Our work and our commitment to the industry is driven by a clear purpose: We make the experience of travel better for everyone, everywhere by inspiring innovation, partnerships and responsibility to people, places and planet.

And our story is one of continual evolution and innovation. A combination of our people, our technology expertise, and our partnerships across the travel ecosystem and beyond give us the capability to make travel work better.

We put travelers first, we better connect the industry, and we make travel for social and environmental good. We support our industry by innovating, by taking an ecosystem approach, and by harnessing our shared passion for travel and technology.

This is how travel works smarter. Smoother. Faster. Better.

The future is there to be explored

So, as we take the next steps on this journey to make the experience of travel better, we will do so united with our customers and partners. Together, we can create a better connected, more sustainable, and traveler-centric ecosystem.
