I’m honored to see that industry bodies and prestigious publications are recognizing our achievements in this field, with Amadeus taking a number of blue-ribbon accolades over the past year.
When it comes to our critical mission and purpose, Amadeus was included in theS&P Global Sustainability Yearbook for 2023. The publication aims to spotlight companies that have demonstrated strengths in corporate sustainability, and we were recognized among the top ten per cent of S&P Global ESG scores worldwide from the nearly 8,000 assessed.
Each day, our teams are accountable for the availability, continuity and sustainability of travel around the world, and we remain at the forefront of major technological breakthroughs in the industry.
We also maintain a truly global DNA. One of our proudest moments in 2023 was being included in the Forbes list ofWorld’s Best Employers. The publication asks employees whether they would recommend their company to family or friends, and to rate their employer based on such criteria as talent development, remote working options, parental leave benefits, diversity, and work-life balance.
With the study surveying more than 170,000 employees in over 50 countries, it was great to be endorsed for the work we do by our colleagues.
When it comes to a caring environment, we have been endorsed bythe Top Employers Institute at eight of our locations around the globe, with Amadeus’ European offices in Bulgaria, France, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Poland and the UK recognized, along with the United States. In addition, six of our sites in Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, and Mexico) and five in Asia Pacific (Australia, India, the Philippines, Thailand and Singapore) have been certified byGreat Places to Work.
Our philosophy of everyday flexibility allows our teams to determine the patterns of work, collaboration and connection that work best for them.
We are proud of our diverse and inclusive community. Last year Forbes asked 45,000 US-based employees at large companies to anonymously rate their organizations based on criteria such as age, gender, ethnicity, disability and LGBTQ+ equality, as well as general diversity – with Amadeus rated amongAmerica’s Best Employers For Diversity.
Further support was provided by our inclusion in theFinancial Times Diversity Leaders list for 2024 – our fifth consecutive appearance in the survey.
At the center of the travel ecosystem, we are also considered a reliable company. Time Magazine rated us among theWorld’s Best Companies
of 2023, with the prestigious publication using a formula of revenue growth, employee satisfaction and rigorous environmental, social, and corporate governance data to reach its conclusions.
Perhaps most importantly, Amadeus is an innovative company, with great opportunities to learn. Last year, we were recognized with the prestigiousChoose France award by Business France, the national governmental agency serving the internationalization of the French economy.
The award celebrates our technology, while we were commended for our commitment to pushing back the boundaries of innovation and excellence. The jury also recognized our contribution to a more sustainable economy and to talent development.
Finally, we are proud to offer our colleagues a complete reward offer. In 2023, Fortune included Amadeus in theFuture 50, a ranking to assess the long-term revenue growth prospects of more than 1,700 of the largest public companies in the world. Each was judged by a measure called ‘vitality’. We were delighted to be included.
