Vilvoorde, Belgium, 21 November 2011: Amadeus, a leading travel technology partner and transaction processor for the global travel and tourism industry, is proud to announce that Luc Pannecoeck, General Manager Amadeus Benelux, has been elected last Friday by the Belgian travel industry as the Man of the Year 2011.
During the Travel Magazine Travel Awards gala evening hold at the Hilton in Antwerp, Luc Pannecoeck received the prestigious award of Man of the Year 2011 for his achievements in the travel industry and his continuous investment to provide the latest technological solutions that enable success to the tourism and travel industry in the Benelux market.
After having hold different management positions at Sabena, Luc Pannecoeck started at Amadeus in 1993. As of this moment, he gradually succeeded to position Amadeus as the leading I.T. provider for the travel industry. Innovation, efficiency, cost savings, diversification and human contacts are part of his most important key words.
