Carol Borg, Chief Financial Officer

With over 30 years’ experience in global finance, Carol Borg is renowned for driving transformational change and delivering strategic growth at leading technology, energy, and defense organizations worldwide.

Carol is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Amadeus, bringing over 30 years of international finance experience across technology, energy, and defense sectors.

Before joining Amadeus, she was Group CFO at QinetiQ Group PLC, a London-listed defense technology leader, where she drove profitable growth and led key strategic acquisitions. Previously, Carol served as CFO at Lightsource bp, a global solar energy company, where she transformed finance and governance processes, supporting bp’s full acquisition of the business. She also spent a decade at Vestas, the renewable energy leader, holding senior roles including Head of Strategy, Risk & Governance, and Regional CFO for Southern Europe, MENA, and Latin America.

Carol is recognized for her ability to deliver transformational change, implement robust financial strategies, and foster sustainable growth. She also serves as a Non-Executive Board Director and Audit Committee Chair at Ricardo PLC.

An Australian national, she has lived and worked in Australia, Denmark, the UK, and Spain, and is now based in Madrid.
