For the second year running, we are delighted to have been crowned Travel Technology Company of the Year at the TTG Travel Awards.
We are particularly proud to receive this award in the year that Amadeus celebrates its 30th anniversary. Over that period, we have evolved from primarily offering distribution services to becoming a leading technology partner to the industry. Our solutions help travel professionals create better journeys across the entire traveller experience.
This honour reflects the effort our local teams have invested in delivering an innovative range of new solutions in 2017, including Amadeus B2B Wallet (a virtual card payment solution), and Amadeus Transfers Hub. It is also the year we welcomed a record number of new customers. This is the second year running we impressed the judges with new product launches, innovation, support for the trade, and growth in new customers, along with its support of start-ups.
“The TTG Travel Awards have earned a reputation for being the toughest awards to win in travel, so any company who takes home a trophy this year can be sure they really are the best-in-class,” TTG’s group editor Pippa Jacks said.
The TTG Travel Technology Company of the Year Award is the latest of a series of high profile award winsfor Amadeus UK & Ireland in 2017. Earlier this year we also picked up the Best Travel Technology Provider at the 2017 Irish Travel Industry Awards.
