Transavia has come a long way since 1965 as we celebrate our fiftieth anniversary next year. We’ve grown to service 10 million passengers to 200 destinations with new routes being added every year as our market presence strengthens in Europe.
To achieve steady growth over the years, we’ve been working with Amadeus to make sure that all of our customers can find our content wherever they want. That is why I’m excited to announce that since Transavia upgraded to light ticketing in Amadeus earlier this year, we have seen the booking process become faster, easier, and more profitable for the travel agency community.
Since upgrading, Transavia can offer more than just a ticket; travel agencies are able to book Transavia just the same as legacy carriers, in one seamless process. In addition, the travel agencies can tailor much more appealing and personalized offers for their customers thanks to the availability of all Transavia relevant ancillary services such as bags and advanced seat assignment. We are planning many more product options for the agents in the near future.
Now that Transavia content is live in Amadeus – we are very excited and confident that it will continue to ease the work load for travel agents on a daily basis.
