The two day coding marathon, which was free and open to anyone, tasked developers with creating a hack or product that is directly related to travel industry such as mobile apps, websites, or social media related tools.

Two Amadeus teams participated in the event, developing mobile applications specifically targeting medical and health tourism and another that provides travel alerts and notifications based on events and news that correspond with a specific itinerary.

Previously, we’ve taken first place at Tnooz THack events in Boston in2011and2013, and inSan Francisco last yearwith a Facebook-driven app called TVote.

Amadeus has a significant presence in India which includes Amadeus Labs, a global software development centre in Bangalore.
