We’re creating a more connected travel industry, underpinned by sustainability and long-term investor relations.
I would personally like to thank everyone who joined us for an outstanding event in Monaco last week. From our trusted Travel Agency Partners, to the influential Travel Suppliers of the different industries represented, I extend a big thank you for sharing your time and insight with us.
Designed exclusively for a limited number of senior leaders and trend setters in travel management, this year’s event focused on the theme of ‘The Travel Transformation’. The forum based format enabled the exchange of views and perspectives from the different constituents of our industry and fostered cross functional inspiration – something that will be extremely useful for future endeavours.
I feel that together with the dialogue that was created, the networks that have been built will help us better shape the changes of the travel industry in the next few years.
Key topics included how technology enables greater traveller servicing and satisfaction, the evolution of travel value chain business models as well as discussion of solutions to empower tomorrow’s ‘super social’ travellers.
Travel industry experts gave attendees the opportunity to debate and exchange ideas, such as the role of emerging markets in travel transformation, and contrast those ideas with the views of experts from other industries to give us an outsider’s perspective into our industry.
I would especially like to thank our esteemed delegates, including Prof. Alf Rehn, our featured speaker, for sharing inspiring ideas.
This forum was an exceptional platform from which to gain a better understanding of the challenges ahead on a variety of hot topics. The conversations we had will allow us to align our priorities and better focus our resources so that we can continue to be at the leading edge of travel technology.
I look forward to collaborating with you in the future and leveraging all the new possibilities we discussed.
