Earlier in 2015, we announced our partnership with Amadeus to increase productivity and cost efficiencies across our business by implementing Amadeus Selling Platform Connect.
Since then, not only do our customers receive a more timely response from our agents, but we’ve also reduced our in-house costs and gained greater choice and access to more relevant content via local and international operators.
While the implementation of Amadeus Selling Platform Connect didn’t come without the usual concerns such as: “will it cause too much disruption?” or “will staff struggle to understand the technology?” I’m pleased to say that all our concerns were allayed when we received feedback from staff indicating a positive experience, one that has delivered an increase in productivity.

Thanks to Amadeus, we were able to implement a flexible, activity-based working environment that saw staff no longer tied to their desks throughout the day, but also working from any device, when and where they want to.
Ironically, the highlight of the migration was actually our service experience. The Amadeus team were so engaged and committed throughout the entire migration, especially the Helpdesk and Account Management teams, who were at our side from the beginning and whenever we needed them.
Suffice to say we’re thrilled with the outcome after all the changes we’ve experienced in the last 12 months. This coming from an agency that’s been creating customised itineraries for discerning travellers for more than 45 years.
