We’re creating a more connected travel industry, underpinned by sustainability and long-term investor relations.
I took over as President of Amadeus S.A.S last July at an extremely exciting time for us with new customers in Asia and the USA, ground-breaking technological advances and increasingly innovative teams – it’s a great time to be a part of Amadeus!
The world of travel is constantly on the move, and having been with Amadeus since the very beginning, I can truly say that in 1987, we could only dream of the opportunities currently unfolding.
Excellence in our search for talent
Here in Sophia Antipolis, at the heart of Europe’s largest technology park, innovation, excellence and creativity are our key drivers – and they are also the drivers in our search for talent.
As the first recruiter in our region of France (and one of the ‘Most Admired ’), we strive to build the best possible relationships with engineering schools and universities worldwide such as MIT in Boston, ETH in Zurich and many more.
This search for talent also applies to internships, and every year we are lucky enough to have over 200 trainees, either from a business or software development background, join our teams here for three to six months.
Our interns get the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects which lie at the core of our business and each year, the best student projects are recognised through our ‘Great Interns Contest’ – an exciting event which gets students competing and rewards their most innovative ideas.
Excellence in the commitment of our staff
What else does our staff value, aside from an innovative environment and a good work/life balance?
Well, our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility is also important to them. And here in Sophia Antipolis, like many other sites within Amadeus, we strive to include our environmental, social and humanitarian principles in our day-to-day working environment.
All this demonstrates what our biggest asset is: passionate staff who are committed to making a difference.
