We’re looking forward to all the challenges, new technologies, and the events that will make Latin America a dynamic market this year. Amadeus continues to stay at the forefront of technology and the proof is in the pudding.

Great Opportunities

No discussion about the travel industry outlook in Latin America would be complete without mentioning the 2016 Summer Olympic Games taking place in Rio de Janeiro from August 5th - 21st, 2016. For the first time since 1968, when Mexico City was the venue chosen by the International Olympic Committee, the games will revisit the region, igniting the travel industry in the process.

Furthermore, the Paralympics are scheduled for September, from the 7th to the 18th. This is bound to create great opportunities for all of our travel industry partners in Latin America and we look forward to helping you make the most of these events.
