We believe in keeping our employees at the forefront of their respective fields with robust learning initiatives.
In 2011, we continued to consistently invest around 0.23% of our revenues in training. These training initiatives included classroom training, e-Learning, and management and leadership programs.
Classroom sessions aimed at improving our internal capabilities and increasing our knowledge in key areas totaled 155,057 hours, while employees benefited from more than 17,733 hours of e-Learning content.
Additionally, an initiative called Amadeus Internal Faculty was designed to promote the transfer of skills and knowledge within the company and to build performance and productivity. This program is the cornerstone of our training initiatives and we proactively encourage leaders and staff members to join the program to share knowledge actively with their colleagues.
