To support our ambitious plans for international expansion, we required a flexible and modular approach to add functions to our IT systems.
Amadeus’ Altéa Reservation platform fit the bill in this respect and has been a vital solution for us to be able to establish bilateral connections with other airlines. It was extremely important for us to have a solution that gave us a voice in the interline world, because our booking system couldn’t sort it out alone.
Amadeus understood our needs and, as a result, we were able to keep the system we already have, which we’re happy with, while also adding features that are essential to make international flights a reality. We were really surprised at Amadeus’ willingness to engage in this mission and conclude the process in only three months. The fact we were able to migrate so quickly was remarkable.
Amadeus’ personalized solution now connects with our internal booking system and interacts with other airlines, while the GDS helps us expand our operations beyond Brazil. With the implementation phase complete, our international flights can now be found, visualized and booked through any booking or distribution system connected to the Amadeus system.
