With more than 25 years of international software development experience and in-depth knowledge of the technology industry (IBM, Business Objects, SAP), Hervé joins us from SAP where he was Executive Vice President of the Technology Group.


Yesterday Amadeus announced the appointment of Hervé Couturier as Executive Vice President of Development.

He brings in-depth understanding of software development including product strategy, planning, and product delivery, coupled with an excellent commercial mind. You can find more information about Hervé here.

Hervé will be responsible for maintaining Amadeus’ position of technology leadership and customer-driven innovation and excellence. He will head up Amadeus’ team of more than 4,500 developers spread around the world in our 15 R&D centres(Nice, London, Sydney, Antwerp, Aachen, Frankfurt, Boston, Miami, Toronto, Strasbourg, Tucson, Bangalore, Bogota, Warsaw and Bangkok).

Hervé succeeds Jean-Paul Hamon in the role of Global Head of Development, who is retiring after more than 20 years leading the innovation efforts in Amadeus.

Couturier joined Amadeus on May 1st, 2012 and has officially assumed responsibilities from Jean-Paul Hamon on July 2nd 2012 following the conclusion of this well-planned handover period.
