This weekend, 35 employees from our Asia Pacific headquarters in Bangkok spent their weekend volunteering with 60 underprivileged children from local schools in the Kangkrajan District.

Most of the children we met live in poverty, and don’t have the money to spend having fun on the weekends. That’s why our goal was to give these kids a reason to smile all weekend!

Together with World Vision and travel insurance provider ACE, we took the children to a Swiss sheep farm (yes, in Thailand!), an amusement park, a palace, and they also had an opportunity to enjoy games and other fun activities.

Thanks to the volunteers, we were able to make a positive difference to the lives of these 60 children. As you can imagine, they loved the amusement park the most and despite being 35C in the middle of the day, they were more than happy to queue various times for the rides!

The children and volunteers alike all left with a big smile – which you can see in photos from the event on ourFacebook page.
