We’re creating a more connected travel industry, underpinned by sustainability and long-term investor relations.
We recently joined with Air France to co-sponsor the T3 Business Forum held in Paris as part of our commitment to foster innovation among travel tech start-ups in France. The forum – which brought together more than 40 start-ups – aims to ‘present the most innovative start-ups, in the area of tourism, transport and technology.'
We seek to shape the future of travel and a big part of this includes driving strategic value through early stage minority investments in start-ups sitting at the crossroads of travel and technology – which we have been actively doing through Amadeus Ventures - a travel venture fund which aims to drive innovation by working with exceptional teams who have brilliant minds and excellent business ideas."It is essential to incite start-ups to be interested in the tourism and we hope that this sector will maintain its dynamism and continue to seduce travelers and new talents with their groundbreaking ideas" comments Georges Rudas- CEO Amadeus France.
Amadeus has already recognized that start-ups are essential in terms of innovation by being one of the founding members of the Welcome City Lab.
Our participation in T3 Business Forum beside Air France, Airports of Paris, the Welcome City Lab and Skyboard is a unique initiative for the industry and we hope to participate further in events such as this.
Have a look at the Amadeus Ventures website for more about how we are working with start-ups to shape the future of travel.
