We’re excited about the opportunities for the aviation industry in Africa and have been hearing from them on this blog as part of the Fly Africa series. This week we were able to meet personally with our airline customers in the region at our Airline Solution Showcase held in Johannesburg.
The event brought together a good mix of local airlines, with varying fleet sizes – each with their own set of needs and challenges.
Smaller airlines found the ‘Maximise the Value of Distribution’ session particularly valuable. Real day-to-day use cases demonstrated how they can increase their reach and better manage their channels.
Larger airlines gravitated towards the sessions highlighting the latest in merchandising. We presented up-to-date growth and adoption figures for two of our key solutions:
can generate up to 15% in incremental revenues and have been implemented by over 70 airlines, with more than 100 signed up.
Our favourite part of the showcase? To bring together local airlines and experts under one roof – even if for just for 36 hours – to engage in dialogue and share best practices with one another. Till next time!
