Vilvoorde, Belgium, 26 May, 2016Amadeus Benelux announces today the launch of a new Amadeus branded Mobile solution for travel agencies in Western Europe. Technological advances coupled with more sophisticated travellers are driving Amadeus to offer to smaller travel agencies other affordable solutions. Mobile Traveller by Amadeus is a new app downloadable for free from the iTunes and Google Play stores. It is available for iOS and Android operating systems.

Travel agencies can now stay connected to their travellers throughout the whole journey ensuring a better travel experience pre-trip, in-trip and post-trip.

Ian Van Hove, WEMEA Program Manager Mobile at Amadeus, mentioned: “Development of an app is not always feasible for small travel agencies. With Mobile Traveller, we want to bring some changes in the mobile world. All our mobile technologies are now collected into a single application available for each travel agency, bringing them closer to their customers.”

Travellers want to be empowered during their journey. By using this Amadeus app they will be able to manage their trip from start to finish, gain immediate knowledge of changes and/or disruptions, be able to book and manage their trip. Travel agencies are now able to offer this complete Amadeus mobile service.
