In the spirit of our people’s passion for travel and technology, we are honored to share that Amadeus has been named The Beat Readers’ Choice for Most Admired Travel Technology Company. This is the first time Amadeus has won this award, unseating a seven-year incumbent.
Announced today at The Beat Live in New York City, The Beat Readers’ Choice Awards included the most admired technology company, travel management company, airline, payment company, lodging brand, car rental brand, startup and supplier of the year.
Amadeus’ Executive Vice President of Global Business Travel, and Travel Channels, Americas, Rajiv Rajian was present to receive the award. “On behalf of Amadeus employees around the world, we are honored to be recognized in this way by knowledgeable and influential members of the business travel industry. We are excited and optimistic about the future of business travel, and about the possibilities to combine great technology with great people to continue to enhance the travel experience. The opportunities are endless, and we at Amadeus are driven to stay at the forefront of shaping the future of travel.”
2019 has arguably been one of the most dynamic for Amadeus, milestones include:
• Announcing that we moved the core shopping experience onto the cloud to drive more speed, resilience and efficiency – we’re the first by far among our competitors to achieve this accomplishment.
• Hosting our inaugural travel technology event, T3CH, focused on Transforming Tomorrow’s Travel, featuring well-known changemakers like Google and Amazon Web Services.
• Progressing NDC with global customers like American Express Global Business Travel and American Airlines that have completed NDC live travel bookings, Travix which is now offering NDC content in several countries, and the launch of Amadeus’ new API with NDC capabilities.
An award like The Beat Readers’ Choice for Most Admired Travel Technology Company is evidence that the company’s vision, strategy, and relationships are resonating with our customers, partners and industry members at large.
