Early this year we unveiled apartnership with UNICEF that will enable the travel industry to raise funds by giving their customers the opportunity to make a micro donation when paying for travel online.
This partnership has come to fruition through a newly signed CSR agreement with Iberia to channel micro donations via our technology on the airline's website.

The expansion of our activities with Iberia in the CSR context is the result of our goal to contribute to the growth of the most vulnerable populations. With this new agreement, we wish to encourage the development of the most disadvantaged groups not only in distant geographic areas, but also benefiting closer ones. At Amadeus we believe that partnerships like this, that leverages the resources and expertise of two companies of relevance in the travel and tourism sector, are the ideal way to achieve it.
Amadeus staff refurbishing computers for PC Bank project
Additionally, we will continue to work with Iberia to develop educational programmes and technology transfer through the PC Bank project, which involves the preparation and donation of computers pre-owned by travel agencies and subsidiaries of Amadeus, to facilitate online training and creating computer science classrooms in selected schools. The transport of the equipment to its destination will be made via Iberia planes.
