Last week was an exciting one for us as we celebrated our 25th anniversary. But it was also a time to uphold our commitment to the local communities in which we operate.

As part of this commitment, employees from Amadeus Asia based in Bangkok came together to donate books and time with children at Pattaya’s Child Protection and Development Centre as part of the Amadeus Cares initiative.

This was special time for us as almost 200 volunteers travelled from Bangkok to participate in a series of activities, including sports, arts and crafts, teaching, planting and cooking.

In addition to helping out at the Centre, employees donated 430 curriculum-specific school books to grow the library and help provide the children with a good education.

Amadeus places great emphasis on education, development and learning so wherever possible we try to share knowledge given the difference it can make to people’s lives.

Under the Amadeus Cares programme, our team felt privileged to be so warmly welcomed by the children, and we applaud the valuable work the Centre does with the community in Pattaya.
