Since our humble beginnings, we've evolved both our office space and presence in Angola.

Amadeus Angola 2004Situated in the Portuguese-speaking capital city of Luanda, Amadeus Angola was first established in 2003, with an office opening thereafter in 2004. Luanda is the largest city in Angola, and provides an ideal base of operations as it serves as both Angola's main seaport and its administrative centre with a population of more than 5 million people. It’s an exciting time to be in the city as many major constructions projects take shape that will significantly alter the cityscape .

Currently, we provide help desk service, training and IT support to our travel agency customers.

A place of opportunities

Angola is a high growth market for business travel, largely driven by the petro-chemical industry and in 2013 the total GDS market (air bookings) experienced a 21% growth rate increase compared to 2012.

Amadeus AngolaThere’s great potential for Amadeus in Angola with the air, hotel, and car segments already thriving. Now, we’re looking to further shape the future of travel in Angola with the introduction of new solutions that will empower travel players to become a force among Africa’s quickly growing economies.
