The Amadeus Seamless Bag Drop Series 1 is a retrofit, compact range that supports a 2‑step bag drop process.
Once a passenger has checked‑in and printed their bag tag, they can proceed to the self‑service bag drop unit, follow the on‑screen instructions, and place their bag on the belt ready to enter the baggage handling system.
You can upgrade your bag drop set‑up to include the SmartSensor which performs a series of automated checks using inbuilt scanners and 3D cameras.
These include automatically reading the bag tag, checking the weight stability, size and structure of the bag for suitability and ensuring that no bag tampering or intrusion on the conveyor belt occurs during processing.
