This research, which was conducted prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, provides a solid foundation for understanding traveler behavior and sentiment in Mexico. While the report primarily focuses on the inspiration and booking phases, as the world learns to cope with COVID-19, travel companies may need to factor in assurances regarding traveler health and well-being. As to the extent of these changes and how long-lasting they may be, only time will tell.
