Viva's revenue management transformation with Amadeus Segment Revenue Management Flex

With more than 190 routes to more than 60 destinations, Viva has experienced tremendous growth in the past few years. The airline's passenger numbers have doubled from 12 million in 2019 to an impressive 27.7 million in 2024, while maintaining a robust load factor of 87.3%.

The airline faced difficulties in maintaining this growth and integrating key systems like network planning, forecasting, ancillaries, pricing, and revenue management. To address these, Viva implementedAmadeus Segment Revenue Management Flex (SRM Flex).

SRM Flex's scalability, user-friendly interface, and advanced visualization capabilities enabled Viva toautomate and optimize processes,saving time and enhancing real-time decision-making. The solutionimproved revenue per available seat kilometer (RASK) by 14.5%andreducedspillage by nearly 40%in 2024. SRM Flex also streamlined the onboarding experience for new analysts and allowed for tailored dataintegration.
