Chief Commercial Officer, Fly Blue Crane
At Fly Blue Crane we strive to offer our passengers a fresh approach. This means offering them new alternative air travel options to various destinations within the Southern African region including Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, Cape Town, and Kimberley and very soon, Windhoek (Cape Town – Windhoek inaugural flights on 13 May).
A big part of taking this fresh approach even further involves having the right technology partners. That’s why Fly Blue Crane signed an agreement with Amadeus to distribute all fares, seat maps, schedules, and services.
We’re growing fast and we plan to expand our route map to additional South African cities in addition to new regional destinations. This agreement with Amadeus will help fuel our expansion strategy by enabling us to reach global travellers through one of the largest travel agency networks. Amadeus travel agents will be able to search, sell, and service bookings on Fly Blue Crane's network of routes on the GDS.
We’ll continue to offer a fresh approach to air travel with the best of both affordability and premium service as our network expands beyond South Africa.
Editor’s Note: This post is part of our Fly Africa series where Amadeus partners in Africa share their experiences and strategies to serve the continent.
