At Amadeus, we’ve made inroads in helping our customers adapt, pivot and thrive as the pace of recovery cautiously accelerates in some regions. Thanks to a dedicated team of innovators and big thinkers, Amadeus delivered new solutions to support the industry’s recovery and get the world moving again. Looking ahead, we believe this is only the beginning of technology’s role in rebuilding travel. From Traveler ID, biometrics to network planning solutions and more, Amadeus has been at the forefront of it all.
In the spirit of our people’s passion for travel and technology, we’re honored to receive the “The Beat” Readers’ Choice Award for the Most Admired Travel Technology Company – for the third time in a row! This is a community that deeply understands business travel and the possibilities of great technology in enhancing the travel experience.
In 2021, our teams got back on the road – including myself – to continue collaborating with our customers on solutions to best position them for a strong recovery. While we renewed and extended numerous long-term relationships, we also solidified new partnerships with several business travel management companies, including established names such as Gant Travel. Additionally, ourmulti-year agreement with Siemens set the standard for innovation in corporate travel, enabling its TMC partners to serve Siemens’ global employee base in over 80 countries utilizing the Amadeus Travel Platform.
In a year of pivots, redirection and transition, we see this as a testament to the stability and value of our technology and partnerships in a time of change and uncertainty.
Over the last several months, we have seen initial green shoots of recovery as traveler confidence builds and an increasing number of business travelers get back on the road. The travel downturn of 2020-2021 provided opportunities to rethink how we can make travel better for all, and we moved full speed ahead, continuing to invest significantly in strategic priorities and creating new partnerships.

As we move into 2022, we will work just as hard for and with our customers to move travel forward. I’m energized by the excitement I see and hear from people as some parts of the world resume face-to-face meetings. Video calls have been helpful over the last two years, but they cannot replace in-person get-togethers – whether for relationship-building or deal-making.
At Amadeus, we remain optimistic about the future, and we look forward to delivering more cutting-edge technology to our customers to help them grow their business and be prepared for the future.
