The study, which was designed to help hoteliers and revenue managers select the best system for their property, scored each revenue management system based upon its advanced features the product inherently provided. Some of these features, which directly relate to the hotelier’s needs, included the following: allowing for differential costs and control of availability by channel; ability to import/integrate with competitive rate information sources; ability to account for events and support promotional activities; easy-to-read dashboards and existence of both pre-built and customizable reports.

Outstanding vendors

Info-Tech Research Group Vendor Landscape reports recognize outstanding vendors in the technology marketplace. Assessing vendors by the strength of their offering and their strategy for the enterprise, Info-Tech Research Group Vendor Landscapes pay tribute to the contribution of exceptional vendors in a particular category.

The Info-Tech study said that “Amadeus features a robust reporting system with an extensive array of pre-built and customizable reports.” The study also said Amadeus’ revenue management solution “integrates tightly with the other components of its hospitality suite, and an open architecture allows for a more streamlined integration with third-party systems.” The study went on to highlight that “Amadeus has international support centers to provide true round-the-clock support to clients”.

Amadeus' international presence

The study concluded that “Amadeus’ international presence makes it a good bet for multi-national or European hotel chains” and is a “suitable choice for hotels and hotel chains that operate across borders and are looking for a SaaS deployment.”

The team and I are very excited about our hotel revenue management advancements and roadmap and this independent study has given us great validation that we’re on the right track to providing hotelier’ s with a solution to help optimize revenues.
