Air Seychelles embodies hospitality of exotic island nation

Air Seychelles proudly symbolises the warm Creole hospitality and joie de vivre of Seychellois culture. Our airline is often the first contact for visitors to Seychelles, so the level and quality of service, as well as the look and ambiance of the aircraft, reflect the atmosphere of the exotic Seychelles. We want our passengers to feel the tranquillity of our island nation from the moment they board and this is possible through our excellent employees, 98% of whom are Seychellois nationals.

Since 1978, Air Seychelles has been a pillar of tourism and the future looks brighter than ever. We currently offer international flights to Abu Dhabi, Antananarivo, Beijing, Johannesburg, Mauritius, Mumbai, and Paris. Air Seychelles also offers more than 300 domestic scheduled flights a week throughout the archipelago, including domestic charter services.

In 2015, we posted our fourth year of profitability and our codeshare destinations rose from 30 to 61 through partnerships with airberlin, Alitalia, Etihad Airways, Jet Airways, NIKI, South African Airways, and Air France. We also earned four prestigious accolades at the 2016 World Travel Awards, including the title of ‘Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline’ for the second year running.

On the Right Track

While the results of 2015 are a sure sign that we are on the right path, we must not rest on our laurels and this year, we are committed to accelerating our growth. We will do this by continuing to grow our route network both organically and through an expansion of our codeshare partnerships.

Additionally, we’ll work hand in hand with Amadeus to attract new visitors through their expansive global distribution network, improve inventory efficiency with their airline IT solutions, and attract new tourists with targeted marketing campaigns.

We will also continue to invest in our products and services as well as our technology to ensure that we provide the best possible guest experience both in the air and on the ground. Teaming up with experienced travel players like Amadeus to reach more visitors from around the world and increase our operational efficiency will play a key role in accelerating our growth and helping us share the beauty of Seychelles.
