Strong customer authentication (SCA) is now a requirement for any type of payment service provider in Europe. If your travel business isn’t equipped yet to make payments more secure, Amadeus Leisure Payment provides all the required functionality for secure credit card payments according to the latest PSD2 directive.

Amadeus Leisure Payment offers strong customer authentication when paying with credit cards.

A two-stage booking process makes Amadeus Leisure Payment the right solution for your business, ensuring a secure payment flow during the booking process.

For Amadeus Leisure IBE users, this means that credit card details are no longer requested in the booking form. Instead, your online customers will be redirected to a data entry page if they have selected the "credit card" payment method. This page is used to authenticate the payment by separately verifying the identity of the credit card holder again.

After entering the credit card data, the customer is forwarded to the website of the bank that issued the credit card in order to carry out the 3D secure procedure. He will then be taken to the IBE “thank you” page.

Both credit cards and PayPal are accepted methods of payment in Amadeus Leisure Payment.
