Following CWT announcing its first American Airlines production NDC booking via Amadeus cytric Travel & Expense earlier this year, Paul de Villiers (Senior Vice President, Global Accounts, Business Travel) caught up with Erik Magnusson (Vice President of Product Management, Mobility & Payments, CWT) to discuss NDC under the lens of business travel.
It’s well known that NDC can offer a whole new world of opportunities for airlines, travel agencies, corporations, and especially travelers. Having said that – NDC is a journey, but by collaborating with our customers and partners – such as CWT – we are driving the recovery of the industry and accelerating travel retailing. We are doing this by implementing NDC-enabled solutions and making content via NDC available worldwide, so all travel sellers can access new, targeted and richer airline offers in real-time.
